An elderly man in Denmark claims he has been severely burned by the strap of his Apple Watch.
Jorgen Mouritzen was wearing his smart watch at a flying club meeting - when he suddenly felt a scorching pain in his arm.
He claims the watch suddenly heated up and burned into his skin - while the strap smouldered, as if power was surging through it.

Jorgen said: "I could smell the burning flesh. And the strap was so hot that as I scrambled to try and pull it off my arm, I even burnt my fingers."
Despite reporting the incident to Apple, the tech giants have yet to address Jorgen's concerns - instead claiming that there is no evidence the injuries were caused by the smart watch.

Apple claims 'to wear it is to love it' when it comes to the smart watch AP
He added: "I was happy with the watch and generally I'm happy with Apple products, and I'm sure it's very rare that this should happen.
"However I'm surprised it's taken them so long to do anything or to help out a customer."
The Danish branch of Apple declined to comment when contacted by local media.
